Since the Grassi-Museum in Leipzig has not been able to give us a definite confirmation for the 37th and 38th ak-adp workshop, we have moved both to Jena. The new venue is the MAXX-Hotel in Jena. There is also a contingent of rooms blocked.

You do not need any vaccination or other proof in the hotel. Mouth-nose protection and the usual distances to other people to comply with the hygiene concept are sufficient.

A rapid test can be provided upon request.

The 39th ak-adp with the topic: "Physical plasmas and plasma-treated media for clinical practice" was recognized by the Medical Association of Saxony-Anhalt. This means that physicians who attend the ak-adp can collect continuing education points. The workshop was assigned to category B and earns 12 continuing education points.

This week, over 100 copies of our technology special on atmospheric plasmas are going to representatives of universities, colleges and institutes.

With this, we want to give current students the opportunity to learn about the technology and application of atmospheric plasmas.

as already announced in December, the planned 38th ak-adp workshop will also be postponed due to the current corona situation. 

We are now pleased to announce that both workshops will take place directly after each other at the venue originally planned for the 37th ak-adp workshop at the Grassimuseum in Leipzig.

Here are the new dates:

38th WS:15.06. - 16.06.2021 with evaluation of the competition #ZukunftADP
37. WS:16.06. - 17.06.2021

The workshops will take place in the usual form from noon to noon.

All existing registrations remain valid.

2020 is coming to an end and we would not like to miss the opportunity to wish you a reflective Christmas season and a healthy New Year.

There are new dates for the 37th and 38th ak-adp workshops in order to be able to offer the events in the proven manner as a presence event with discussion platform and broad exchange of information. For the first time, two workshops will be held directly after each other.

In case of interest in both main topics, travel expenses can thus be minimized.

As we are not yet able to estimate how the situation will develop until February, we have decided to postpone the 38th workshop. We ask for your understanding for this decision.

The User Group Atmospheric Pressure Plasma (ak-adp) is calling on representatives from industry, colleges and universities, and research institutions to take a look at the future of atmospheric plasmas.
In an open competition, we are looking for ideas or concrete concepts on how the technology can be applied in the future. The best contributions will then be presented at the 38th ak-adp in Bamberg.
Submit your paper by November 25, 2020, and take advantage of this opportunity to share your work with a broad audience and open it up for discussion.

Exchange of information and lively discussions on a wide range of topics under the motto "Atmospheric Plasmas - Effective Tool from A(ctivation) to Z(uccess Technology)" were the focus of the first workshop of the Atmospheric Pressure Plasma User Group after the Corona Lockdown.

In compliance with the hygiene concept, 30 participants took the opportunity to learn about new developments and applications of surface functionalization by activation and coating, precision shaping and the effective combination of atmospheric plasmas with other technologies. New tools for surface analysis and new plasma sources were also presented.
